Here Comes Santa Claus!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We did! I left out cookies (2 gingersnaps and 1 peanut butter) and milk for Santa this year with a note. Mom said she was up till 11 p.m. but she didn't see him come by. But alas, he did! When we woke up, Santa ate two bites of the cookies!
Here I am at Papa's house with my reindeer.

Here's Rudolph! (Actually, that's Dad.)

Papa's house is on the marsh and he has a big front and backyard that I ran around in with Murphy. We're both trying to figure out how to open this door.
Meet my little friend Tinkerbell. She's a Chihuahua. She belongs to JoJo's daughter Perri. I had a fun time playing with Tinkerbell and trying to pick her up!

We had Christmas eve dinner at Perri's house. Here is Dad with Papa chatting. It was a couple of weeks that I hadn't seen Papa, but when I woke up from my nap in Beaufort, I saw him and said, "Baba." I had a great time with Baba. He played with me a lot and carried me around. I love Baba.

A trip to Charleston

Before heading down to Beaufort, we stayed in Charleston for a couple of days. We had a lot of fun. We stayed at Ms. Olivia and Jack's house. Here's Dad with Mr. Robert and Murphy.
Here I am with Ms. Liz. She taught with Mom at a middle school in downtown Charleston. I had a lot of fun with her. She is silly.

Oh, just going for a walk

I love heading outside for walks with Murphy. I insist on holding his leash. I won't even have Mom or Dad help me hold it. If I see a dog I know walking in the neighborhood, I also insist on walking him or her. I just love dogs! (and cats too. I scout them out on walks and try to lure them by patting my thigh and saying "Meee-ow.")
Off we go for a stroll! Murphy is pretty understanding of me wanting to walk him. Sometimes he knocks me over, but that's okay. It's all about a little give and take.

It was just a year ago

when Grandma was here to visit and we went outside to take a picture of the beautiful fall/winter leaves here in Virginia.
Here I am with Grandma a year later in the same spot (with a few less leaves on the trees though). I've run off a good amount of my baby chub, but I am still holding onto a little of it. It gives people something to squeeze!

Grandma and Grandpa, we will see you guys in March!

Happy Graduation, Dad!

Congratulations to Dad for graduating from MCV's Nurse Anesthesia Program...and with a 4.0!!!
You have made everyone in your family proud. All of those hours of studying and getting up early for cases paid off!
Group picture, everyone! Here is Mom and Dad with the Rayments and Lucy with the orange smile, and the Burts. We will miss having them live so close to us! The Rayments are safely back in Seattle despite the crazy snowstorms.

Here's a great picture of us with Grandma and Grandpa. I actually happened to take my nap during the ceremony, but woke up just in time for the tail end of the graduation party. I was so sleepy!

Awwww...what a great picture. I've been "awwwww" with the cock of the head whenever I give hugs and pats on Mommy and Daddy's back. I also say "awwww" when I give Murphy treats because it's "Awwww, so cute!"

Look at these handsome men! Where? Here is Dad with Uncle Roman.

Here's Papa with Uncle Don. It looks like Uncle Don is trying to sneak in a nap. ;)

Dad: Really! I got a 4.0!
Uncle Don: No way! I don't believe it.
Dad: It's true. Look at this plaque!
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (Sof is typing too now).
Uncle Don: That's great, J.J. Congratulations!
There's Dad receiving his diploma. He's so cool.

Here's Dad sitting with the rest of his classmates listening to the great many speeches. They were so moving that they made many shed a few tears.

Here's Mr. Rayment with his son Will. I enjoy running around and playing with him and Lucy. I hope you guys settle well in Seattle.

A Christmas Parade

We had a Christmas parade here in Richmond that we happened to stumble upon on our way to the Children's Musem. It was chilly, but it was fun to see various bands and characters march on by!
Here is the Star Wars clan. I'm not sure how it relates to Christmas, but whatev. It was neat.

Hello R2D2!

Grandma is checking in with me to make sure that I don't freeze to death. I don't think I will with all this garb and two hats.

I can barely see out with a hat and my hoodie! It's nice to get bundled up and be outside.

Me and Papa

Papa came up to visit for Dad's graduation and it was great to see him again! Papa is reading me a book about Elmo making music. I call Elmo "Mah-Mo."
Wasn't that funny, Papa? I thought so too!

See, even Dad thinks it's funny also! I love books and I love Elmo. I have caught the Mah-Mo bug!
