My New Hat

I decided to wear underwear on the outside of my jammies and on my head. It fits just like a hat.
Love my fashiony get-up? My jammies don't even match! (I bet this will be the new rage in a few years.)

Where's Sofia?

I have found the perfect hiding spot in the house. Can you guess where I am?
Ahhh...notice the bulge getting bigger? (That's my butt.)

Ta-da! Here I am! I like hiding back here and saying "Fia, Fia." That's how I say my name.

How do you nap?

I was watching Sesame Street (gasp!) and fell asleep on the couch. "Baba" and Grandpa both do this. I thought I'd try.
Snug as a bug on the couch. Yes, that's a bruise on my cheek, forehead and a scratch on the other cheek! =/

It looks like Mom is on a roll with this theme here. I usually nap in my room, but sometimes I prefer the couch, carseat, stroller, you know, whatever strikes my mood that day. Mom thought it was funny that I fell asleep with a Trader Joe's balloon still attached to me.

Check out my new Fuzzy Bear slippers. They're quite big (Mom didn't check the size chart), but they do a great job of keeping my toes warm!

What do you mean I can't eat dog food?!

Yes, I am crying because no one is giving me Murphy's food. "Foo? Foo?" Murphy seems to love his food. He scarfs it down with vigor, so it's got to be good. I just want to give it a taste.
Look. This stinks! I can only reach the knobs on the washing machine! I don't want the "Quick Wash" cycle! I want dog "foo!"

*Update* Mom caved in and gave me a small cupful of dog food. Lamb and Rice. Really good. I don't eat it in front of Mom. I just make a smacking noise with a big grin on my face. Then, I head over to my room or the office and enjoy some kibble. This is also a fantastic way to get Murphy to follow me throughout the house. It makes me popular!

Our trip to Beaufort..more pictures!

Here I am with Papa ("Baba") watching a little sports. He is one fantastic grandpa. He played with me often and I had a great time!
I'm just taking a little break at Nana's house. Roaming and meandering is what I do best.

The weather was beautiful in South Carolina. Slightly warm and sunny!

Here I am with Mom, Dada, and Nana. I had a great visit with Nana!

What? Christmas is over? No way. Alright. Outta my way! Beep! Beep!

Here I am with Mom and Ms. Allison and Connor at our going away party! That's a cute dress, Connor!

Look at those great smiles! Here's Dad with Mrs. Dinkins, Mr. Dinkins, Mr. Chip. Dad grew up with Mr. Chip and the Dinkins.

Here is Mr. Heath, Dada, Papa, and Ms. Black all shucking oysters. I hear they are quite delicious!
Here's Aunty Mia with Cousin Ava and Ms. Chilton. Aren't they pretty? They look like they are having a fun time!

Here is Mr. Todd. He didn't want his picture taken, but Mom took it anyway. =)

Here is Mr. Ashley, Mr. Chip, and Mr. Laban all enjoying a nice cold Bud Light!

This is Ms. Blanche. She wasn't feeling too well, but still managed to make it out to the party. It was great to meet you!

Check out this handsome one! His name is Ford. He is being held by Ms. Katherine (his Mama) with Ms. Bradi.
Here is Ms. Allison and Connor again. Did you know that Connor is going to be a big sister? Congratulations!

Oh, I would spend all my days like this if I could...outside in the company of dogs. I really couldn't ask for more. That's Murphy and Buoy. Buoy lives next door to Papa. I grew to love Buoy. (Mom even asked the neighbor's son if we could trade dogs, but he wasn't into it.)

We played at the Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort. It's great. Mom is always drinking some sort of tea all day long. Well, I happened to get my hands on this cup. (So did my shirt.)

Awww! Who doesn't love a good swing?!

Really? What are you boys up to?

Here's Lauren and her youngest sister Kendall, who is about the fancy pose. Mom missed taking a picture of their sister Vivian. Oops, sorry Viv! Thank you so much for playing with me. I had SUCH a great time with you guys! I can't wait to see you all again soon!

Here's Evan with a cool blue jet plane! I had a lot of fun playing with Evan and Ava too!

Did you lose a set of keys? Here they are. I'm here with Uncle Chris and Dada.

Now who doesn't love Maryland Fried Chicken?

Here's Natalie and Amelia. They came to visit us at Papa's house! It was great to see you guys!

Having so much fun with Nana and my Cousins!

Here are some pictures of my fun night at Nana's house with Evan and Ava. They were trying to go to bed, but I had other plans. I wanted to stay up and play!

See? Even Murphy is in on the action. I think we need a bigger bed!

Here is our Nana. We had a great time playing. Evan and Ava made forts out of pillows and blankets. Evan and I are trying to communicate to Mars by speaking into these vases. Nana spent all of her time playing with us while we were at her house. She is truly a wonderful Grandma and we are lucky to have her. We love you, Nana.

Here's Dad and Aunty Mia making a spaghetti dinner. It was so good!

Here's me and Nana on the back porch. It was nice and warm in Beaufort. There were quite a few gnats/"no-see-ums" and even a stray mosquito here and there.

Dad and I are strolling in Nana's backyard. There's the Morgan River behind us. It's a neat view.

Yup, there's my Dad, on his cell phone. And here I am marching along!

Christmas in Beaufort!

Look what I got for Christmas! A "Mamo" doll! (That's how I pronounce "Elmo.")

Here is Mom making a (not-so-pretty) gingerbread house. Mom likes making one every Christmas day. Maybe next year, I'll help.

Here I am with JoJo. I am thanking her for the cute Mickey Mouse Crocs. (There's Murphy trying to sneak into another picture.)

Wow! I got a counting piggy bank too! Dad and Papa ("Baba") look so happy. Santa brought me a butterfly puppet, a butterfly necklace and two little wind-up toys. He definitely knows that I love butterflies.
Cool insulated cups, Dad!

Don't worry, folks, it's only a ski mask for snowboarding. We're getting excited about snow in Spokane. They got 51 inches this Winter!
