You. Are. So. CUTE!

I can't believe Giana doesn't enjoy this as much as me! I love my baby sister so much sometimes that I squeeze her, but Mom says I use a little too much pressure sometimes.
We made chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting with a raspberry to top them!

They were SO good!

Bath time and Someone around here's getting a bit chunky!

Giana wanted to get into the picture too. :)
I've been taking baths in the sink lately. It's good to change things up a little. Check out my crazy hair!

Check out those cheeks. They aren't quite as plump as mine were at this age, but they are getting pretty chubby.

Dad is painting Giana's room. Giana has been sleeping in Mom and Dad's room in a Pack n' Play. She will move into her room in a month or so.

Giana is taking a nap on the couch. See how much she has grown?

Life with Two

Here's Giana napping on the couch. She loves being nestled and bundled up really tight.
Grandma is still here helping us out. Thank goodness. I don't know if Mom and Dad could do all of it so smoothly. Well, they'll have to give it a shot. Grandma leaves Sunday. :( We are all dreading it. She has been such a HUGE help! (We thought we would take a picture of Giana napping with her butt sticking out. She is a good little snoozer.)

Here I am at a neighborhood park. I was in a parent/child preschool co-op on Wednesdays and yesterday was our last day. We had a park playdate with all of my friends. Next Fall, I start at a Montessori School. I can't wait! I talk about wanting to go to school all the time.
Grandma is doing what she does best here. Giana and I are getting lots of love and attention with Grandma here. Grandma takes me out on tricycle and bug walks daily. I love finding potato bugs (or roly poly), beetles, ants, worms, and slugs.

We Welcome Baby Giana!

Dad, Grandma, Murphy, and I went out to the Bowl and Pitcher for a nice Mother's Day hike. Mom stayed at home with Baby Giana. I picked a beautiful array of wild flowers for Mama.
Here's Baby Giana! She was born on May 5th. She weighed 7.2 pounds and was 17 1/2 inches long.

Here I am with Mom at the hospital. I'm holding Baby Giana!

This is Dad. He was really tired from having a baby. Just kidding. He was pretty tired though.
Mom and Dad say how Giana is such an easy baby. Apparently I wasn't that way. Hmm. I don't seem to remember. ;)

Here's my Baby Sister. I'm a Big Sister now! Mom and Dad are really surprised how wonderful and gentle I am with Giana and show no signs of jealousy at all. Of course not! I've been waiting for so long for my baby sister! I love her so much. (She's fresh out of the womb in this picture, so her nose is a bit squashed.) :) She's a cutie.
I'm giving Giana big hugs and kisses. Here I am showing her my necklace. Come visit us and see my new baby sister!

Animal Farm

"Maaahhhhh" said the Goat. We went to a petting farm this weekend and I got to play with a lot of farm animals. I even saw a 3 day old baby goat! I really enjoyed the goats.
I'm standing next to a giant tortoise. He was in the middle of taking a nap, but I managed to get a picture with him. We brought carrots to feed our friends.

I'm sitting on a llama. His name is Qupid.

I loved holding the baby ducks, chickens, and bunnies.

This bunny looks like it's having a snuggly, cozy time on my lap. I think he almost fell asleep! :)

I went on a horse ride! I wasn't scared at all. I'm going to have to do this more often.

I love pony rides! We have 9 days to go before we see my baby sister! Yay! I can't wait! I talk about being a big sister all the time!

Go Mariners! Our trip to Seattle!

We went to Seattle last weekend to see some friends and watch the Mariners play baseball! We had such a great time! Here I am eating my first bag of Cracker Jacks in my Mariners sweatsuit and matching hat.
What a fun game! We beat the Detroit Tigers. When music would play, I started dancing around and groovin'. :)

Here is my good friend Lucy. We actually met in Richmond, Va. where Dad trained and I was born there. Lucy and her brother Will are old friends of mine.

Here is Mr. Martin, Mr. Rad, and Dada. Mr. Martin and family (Lucy, Will, Ms. Lauren) all live in Seattle and Mr. Rad who lives in Richmond, came out to Seattle for an anesthesia conference. We all got to hang out. We ate some really great food in Seattle!

We went to Woodland Park Zoo also. I had SO much fun. I didn't want to leave the elephant or bear exhibit. I could've sat and watched them all day. The weather was beautiful too.

Someone's gotta work around here! Oh just squeezing some udders for milk. :)

At the end of our zoo trip, I got to ride on an antique carousel. I loved it! We were glad to make this trip. Mom is almost 38 weeks pregnant, so it was nice to get out once more before my Baby Sister arrives on May 5th! I can't wait to be a big sister!

Our Visit to Shelton and Bend! Good Times!

Hello, Everyone! We spent last week in Shelton visiting my grandparents and cousins from Korea and then we headed down to Bend, Oregon to see my good friend Charlotte. Here we are.
This is Dad and Mr. Tom playing Guitar Hero. It's standard practice to rock out when they get together.

We are pretty silly, especially with the shades and the hair accessories. :)

We just woke up and still lounging in our pajamas with Charlotte's dog Tess. She is such a sweet, gentle dog. So far, Tess is the ONLY dog that doesn't get up and walk away from me. I love that dog. (Mom even jokes that we should trade Murphy for Tess and see if they notice.)

This is Mt. Hood. It is a spectacular mountain. We took a slight wrong turn and ended up driving right up against the mountain and Mom and Dad were in awe the entire scenic drive. (I was napping.)

In Shelton, we always try to stop by Hunter Farms. They had new animals there, like this donkey.
We also went to Potlach State Park in Hood Canal, near Shelton and I was completely absorbed in observing the hermit crabs, crabs, and collecting oyster and clam shells. I could have been there all day! This is the stuff I live for!
I'm observing a hermit crab.

Slam Dunk! That's right, y'all! March Madness to the Max! ;)

I'm just showing Dada how to dribble. We had a great time in Shelton. The weather was beautiful all week long!

These are my cousins that flew in from Korea! I had such a great time with them. They played with me, sang me songs in Korean, and even babysat me while Mom and Dad went to Alderbrook Inn for dinner for Dada's birthday. I hope they can come visit us here in Spokane this summer!
